Return Eligibility
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged, broken, or defective, we will gladly provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you. To qualify for a damage claim:
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order
- Provide photos of the damaged product and packaging
- Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved
Quality Concerns
We stand behind the quality of our extra virgin olive oil. If you believe there is a quality issue with your product (such as rancidity, off-flavors, or contamination), please contact us immediately. We will:
- Investigate your concern promptly
- Offer a full refund or replacement if the product doesn't meet our quality standards
- May request you return the product for quality testing
Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. For change-of-mind returns:
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
- Products must be unopened and unused
- Products must be in their original packaging
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- A restocking fee of 15% may apply
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Opened or used products (unless defective)
- Products returned after 30 days
- Products without original packaging
- Gift cards
- Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
- Products damaged by improper storage after delivery
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return or refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@theholyoil.co or call (314) 369-1255 with your order number and reason for return
- Receive Authorization: We will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved
- Ship the Product: Pack the product securely with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package
- Receive Refund: Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund:
- Inspection: 2-3 business days after receiving your return
- Refund Processing: 3-5 business days after approval
- Bank Processing: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement (varies by bank)
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. This includes:
- Credit/debit card refunds to the original card
- PayPal refunds to the original PayPal account
- Store credit (if preferred or if original payment method is unavailable)
Shipping Cost Refunds
- Damaged/defective products: Full refund including original shipping costs
- Quality issues: Full refund including original shipping costs
- Change of mind: Product cost only (original shipping is non-refundable)
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your product for a different size or variety, please contact us. We will provide instructions for the exchange process. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account and credit card statement again
- Contact your credit card company – refunds can take time to post
- Contact your bank – there may be processing delays

Subscription Cancellations
If you have a subscription with The Holy Oil:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date
- Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before your scheduled shipment
- Orders already processed cannot be cancelled
- To cancel, log into your account or contact customer service
Gift Orders
If you received a product as a gift and wish to return it:
- Contact us with the order number (if known) or gift sender's information
- Refunds will be issued as store credit to protect the gift giver's privacy
- Alternatively, the refund can be issued to the original purchaser
